Muchik Restaurant with varied menu and excellent food. Accurate descriptions, exceeded expectations. Good value for money. Great breakfast options.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The hotel staff was very accommodating. The included breakfast was delicious, and well presented. A waiter was always available for requests, and was very friendly. When we entered and left the hotel, someone was always there to open doors, tote luggage, hail a cab, and with a friendly greeting.

The view of the building across the street was poor, but watching the passing traffic was interesting. I missed having ice available, but it is customary in Peru to only serve hielo (ice) during the summer.

The only bad point is the disco nearby that we hear clearly if you are located on the wrong side of the hostel. No problem with earplugs. The hotel was conveniently situated in the center of the town, making it easy for me to get around. I also liked the comfortable beds and how clean the rooms were. The hot showers were a pleasant surprise, and the Wi-Fi connection was good.

The noise was too much at times, and it was difficult to communicate with the staff because of their limited English proficiency. , the breakfast didn't have many options, and the juice was lackluster.

The hotel's location is convenient, with easy access to several nearby bus terminals, making it ideal for budget travellers. the room is clean with a nice hot shower, and there is a flat-screen TV available. the staff is pleasant and accommodating.

Some of the staff members' English speaking skills are limited, which could make communication difficult at times.

We had a pleasant surprise during our stay at Mood Hotel Lifestyle. While checking out at 10AM, I accidentally left my suitcase in the hotel's locker. When I returned later that evening, I discovered that another couple had taken my suitcase, but luckily I recognized it in time. The staff should have been more vigilant, but overall I still recommend this hotel.

As a foreign traveller on a budget, Los Portales gave clean, comfortable rooms at a price well below what I would pay at home for the same service.
